Samsung S4 Launch in New York City

Everybody is excited to see what Samsung S4 is offering.
For techies and gamer alike, Samsung is offering the best of both world.
You heard it right! GAMERS.
Samsung has just taken the covers off of its latest flagship device - the Samsung Galaxy S4 and recently announced that it has shifted over 100 million Galaxy S devices. But, flagship devices aside, the Samsung Galaxy is a vast and often confusing one.
It's worth knowing a thing or two about Samsung's naming conventions within its Galaxy world before you attempt to make comparisons. For smartphones, S means super-smart, Y is for young, and M means magical. Say what? More importantly, Plus means a mid-term upgrade, the equivalent to how the way Apple puts an S on the end of its autumnal iPhone.
For tablets and the lesser-sized touchscreens that we'll deign to call 'phablets', Tab indicates an entertainment-style device and Note a more serious product; the latter comes with S Pen, Samsung's term for a stylus.
Within are some of the best-selling smartphones on the planet – the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II – though there are plenty of other gems that fill a niche, or shrink a classic within Samsung's universe of smartphones and tablets.
So read on to find out what is the right Samsung Galaxy smartphone or tablet for you...

Samsung Galaxy S4

The Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with a new technology that makes it different from its hugely successful predecessor, Galaxy S III. Aside from that, the most notable, S4 includes an octo-core processor which is quite far from S III's quad-core, but we don't know yet if it has a big difference when it comes to its performance. S4 also has Full HD 5-inch display and a wealth of cutting edge software features.

Samsung also enhanced its device in S4 and added a number of key control features, such as the much-rumoured Smart Scroll and Smart Pause. The Smart Scroll allows you to move the text on the screen using tilt movements as it tracks where your eyes are looking and Smart Pause freezes video action if you look away from the screen.

Other notable additions include a 13-megapixel camera that can shoot super high-resolution shots and also records Full HD 1080p video.

The camera’s hardware skills are matched by the awesome image software provided by the S4. The front and rear cameras combine for one of the standout features of the new on-board camera setup (which mimics the menu system on Samsung’s Galaxy Camera) – Dual Shot – which snaps pictures from the front and back.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 will go on sale soon. It's bound to be a best-seller.

Samsung Galaxy SIII

The Samsung Galaxy S III is hugely popular due to a combination of affordability and its advanced specs – and in particular its 4.8-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen with 1280 x 720 pixel HD resolution. Just 8.6mm slim and weighing 133g, the S III now runs Android 4.0 and integrates two cameras, with 8-megapixels on the rear and 1.9-megapixels on the front.
The latter enables some nifty facial recognition that dictates how the S III responds, and there's also some future-proofing in the shape of latest-gen NFC (Near Field Communications) tech for contactless purchases.
It may have been recently usurped by the S4, but the S III is still a fantastic handset to have and is bound to see its price tumble in the next few months.
